End-User License Agreement

Effective date: 2025-01-01

  1. License. Court Les Rues LLC licenses you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to install and use Synephoria on Meta Quest hardware you own, subject to this EULA and platform terms.
  2. Ownership. The software and all content are owned by Court Les Rues LLC and its licensors. This EULA grants a license, not a sale.
  3. Restrictions. You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software except where permitted by law; (b) distribute, resell, or rent it; (c) circumvent technical protections; or (d) use it for unlawful purposes.
  4. Safety (VR/MR). Use only in a safe area and follow Meta Guardian boundaries. Stop immediately if you feel unwell (photosensitivity, motion discomfort).
  5. Audio/Microphone. Synephoria reacts to your voice locally. Audio input is processed on-device and is not transmitted to us.
  6. Privacy. We do not collect personal data from within the app. See the Privacy Policy.
  7. Third-party terms. The app uses Unity and Meta XR SDKs and is subject to Meta platform terms and policies.
  8. Updates. We may deliver patches or updates automatically. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
  9. Refunds. Purchases and refunds are handled by Meta per the Meta Horizon Store policy. Contact Meta Support for refund eligibility.
  10. Export & sanctions compliance. You represent you are not located in a sanctioned country and are not a denied party. You agree to comply with applicable U.S. and international export laws.
  11. Warranty disclaimer. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  12. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS.
  13. Governing law. Michigan, USA (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules). Venue and jurisdiction lie in Michigan courts.
  14. Termination. This EULA terminates if you materially breach it; upon termination you must uninstall and cease use.
  15. Severability & entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. This EULA, together with applicable platform terms, is the entire agreement for the software.
